Presentation Outline

Title: Static Analysis and the (Technical) Debt Crisis

Abstract: Software quality has many aspects. A wide range of development practices have evolved to maintain and enforce quality. Static Analysis is a form of automated code review that can find bugs, bad practices and standards violations, improving quality and reducing “technical debt”. We will look at a few of the static analysis tools for the Java platform and see how they fit into an efficient and repeatable software development lifecycle.
